I was told about this place and how very good the Chicken Cracklins were. We were headed back from Baton Rouge on 190 and stopped in. It was Great! Those Chicken (things) Cracklins were really something to talk about! Just outstanding texture and flavor. And, I also bought some Andouille sausage it was also very good. The food is truly something I won't forget. There was a young lady running the register and an older man there, they were both very nice and friendly. I can't wait to travel that way again and stop by.

Stopped by while in Port Barre making a delivery. Was greeted upon arrival. Had a pleasant conversation with the owner/manager. Bought some chicken cracklins to try and they were YUM-E!!! Seasoned medium so beware if you like mild. Recommended if you’re ever out this way. Daily plate lunches as well.

I have tried most boudin places in Acadiana and I have my favorites. Boscos just made my top 5 list which doesn't include the usual suspects in Acadiana. I like the hidden gems and Boscos is now on my list of "worth the drive". They also have a beautiful selection of meat and frozen cajun goodies if you aren't from here and want to bring some home to your neck of the woods. Thank me later.

Excellent service, pork and seafood boudin and chicken cracklings. Clean store and restrooms and awesome attitudes of employees. Better than Billy’s!

We love the cold boudin it's great on the smoker. We always try one of the selections from the meat counter and they always impress!!!
